Contributions needed for two separate projects

1. If anyone has baby items that they would like to donate, please contact Erika Phillips.

2. Contributions to the Voice of the Martyrs action packs for the Sudan and Pakistan can be placed in the area by the bulletin board near the church office. Things that are being collected include flip flops, soap, towels, twin size blankets, queen size bed sheets, packages of pens, note pads, T-shirts, and light sweaters. Gift card and monetary donations are acceptable, too. For questions or more information, call Erika Phillips.

Kids Across America to hold car wash

Kids Across America will host a car wash from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, July 11, 2009. More details to come later.

GFB Faithwalkers pound pavement at Family Life Center

The GFB Faithwalkers are still pounding the pavement. Come and join us for exercise and fellowship. We meet at the air-conditioned Family Life Center at 6 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays each week. No Children's Church for two Sundays in May

There will be no Children's Church for the following Sundays: Luticia "Aunt" Tishie Walton Student Recognition Day (May 17) and Youth Sunday (May 31). However, there will be Children's Church on May 24.

Spring Musical: "I Hear the Music in the Air" set for June 6

The GFB Sanctuary Choir will be hosting their annual spring musical at 6 p.m. Saturday, June 6, 2009. Mark your calendars and plan on joining us for a fantastic evening of fellowship as we lift up the name on Jesus in song.

GFB Faithwalkers pound the pavement

The GFB Faithwalkers are still pounding the pavement. Come out and join us for fun, fellowship and exercise. We meet at 6 p.m. each Tuesday and Friday. As a group we have walked a total of over 160,000 steps. Remember to check your e-mail for our walking locations.
